Recent Purchases

Today I’m going to share with you some of my recent purchases with some swatches at the bottom of this post. I will do reviews on each product separately except from the Effaclar Duo since I’ve rambled on about that enough in past posts..

From Debenhams I aquired a new shade of the Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Liar, an everday/nudeish shade which I got as a pick me up from my lovely boyfriend 🙂 and the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and Subversion Primer Duo. I’ve not tried an eyelash primer before so was intrigued…I then went to Clinique and had a swatch of the Cheek Pop in Peach Pop and the Chubby Stick Shadow Tint For Eyes in the shade 04 Ample Amber and couldn’t resist. Damn it I’m supposed to be saving! Haha

I more recently ordered some bargains from Escentual. I saw that the the Guerlain Écrin 4 Couleurs Long-Lasting Eyeshadow Palette in the warm toned shade named Les Fauves £19.50 was 50% off so that clearly had to happen! I also needed a 3rd repurchase, yep 3rd of the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+, i.e my skin’s saviour! and a new eye gel in the form of Vichy’s Aqualia Thermal Eye Roll-On. Along with those I received a sample of the Blu Mediterraneo Arancia Di Capri Perfume by Acqua Di Parma.

One thing I’d like to chat about here is the sample of the Acqua Di Parma Perfume, it smells absolutely AMAZING! It’s sweet and fruity but not sickly, and it’s warm at the same time. I’m awful at describing perfumes so here is their description..

”Fresh, crisp top notes of essential oils of Sicilian oranges and tangerines, Sorrento lemons and grapefruit. In the heart notes, essence of petitgrain blends with the intense fragrance of mate leaves, while essential cardamom oil expresses its resolute, original character. In the base notes, a slight hint of caramel blends perfectly with the more sensual notes of musk, which warms the fragrance so that it lingers on the skin.”

I just love it love it love it so will more than likely be ordering that sometime soon even though it’s on the pricier end of things at £54 for 75ml I think this one’s worth the splurge!
