I’ve just read on various blogs that MAC are bringing out even more limited edition collections for summer and boy do they look nice! First up is the exciting looking Osbourne Collection (as featured on Temptalia) which consists of an array of products by Kelly and a separate line by Sharon. Kelly’s range is definitely for the more brave makeup fiends out there with a very bold nude lip colour selection but also a decent looking purple themed palette housed in pretty lilac coloured packaging. Both lines feature liners, blushers, lip products, bronzers and couple of brushes so they are quite extensive collections.
Sharon’s though is the one that gets my attention with the bold red packaging, some nice looking shades of the Patentpolish Lip Pencil and a lovely warm neutral palette that looks right up my alley. I’m more than likely going to be looking into Sharon’s selection when they come to the UK (apparently from August).
Another goodun is MAC’s Pedro Lourenço Collection (also as featured on Temptalia) with smart looking matte black packaging with gold details encasing four lipsticks, two glosses, two nail polish shades and a cream colour base. But the two that I like the look of the most are the natural looking blush duo and the neutral eyeshadow quad for those barely there makeup looks. My MAC eyeshadow collection is tiny tiny tiny; no really I have 5; so as you can tell I’m interested in all these quads even though there are some permanent shades featured in them. If you want to see some swatches see here.
The Bourjois Nail Polish Remover for hands and feet (as featured by Lily Melrose) is something I’ve been waiting on for a while, especially since it’s now sandal season and getting those toes out is generally nicer when they are painted. This nail polish remover has a sponge in the lid for removing the nail polish from your toes so you can fix them up in a jiffy. Such a great idea and something I definitely need! Currently available to buy at Asos (see here) for £5.99 but should be available at Boots soon, hopefully.
Revlon are apparently bringing out a new lip product to compete with some other drugstore brands and it comes in the form of the Colourstay Moisture Stain (as featured by A Beauty Junkie In London). The formula is I believe along the same lines as the Bourjois Velvet Rouge Edition (see my post here); a gloss that dries down to a matte finish but the shade range looks more wearable to me so I’ll be keeping an eye out for these but it will no doubt be a while as drugstore lines seem to take forever to bring their new products over to the UK.
So are any of these products taking your fancy?
